Pre-ordered fabric has a shipping turnaround of 6-8 weeks from the date the pre-order closes. For in-stock fabric orders I will endeavour to have shipped within 48hrs. Please allow me a little extra time after a retail release to get orders out and keep in mind that I live in a rural location, so if an order is urgent please use the express shipping option at checkout.
Yes the mailer bags are 100% certified compostable! The mailer including shipping label can be placed in your home compost to breakdown over 180 days. It’s ok if you don’t have a compost set up, the mailer will breakdown even quicker in a commercial compost or a bit slower at the local tip! No matter where it goes its not going to stick around and pollute our beautiful planet.
This is something I am super passionate about so am happy to share the supplier! Check out Better Packaging Co for your own business or for more information about the products.

The printing of custom designed fabric is quite a complex process so you may come across a fault occasionally. Friday Love Fabrics are checked multiple times throughout the process but the odd fault may get missed. If you do receive fabric that has a fault please contact me at hello@fridaylovefabrics.com.au and I will be more than happy to discuss your options.

Before sewing with your fabric I highly recommend pre-washing it as some bases can shrink up to 5%.
Wash your fabric on a gentle cycle between 40 - 60 degrees celsius, using a quality washing powder that contains no whitening or bleaching agents.
I also recommend the use of a colour catcher when washing your new fabrics for the first time just in case!
If you have purchased PUL please note that it is very important that you do not wash your PUL at any stage higher then 60 degrees celsius.
Repeated cycles of above 60 degrees will cause your PUL to slowly break down and delaminate.
If you have purchased swim fabric please ensure that your made garments are washed as soon as possible after being worn in chlorine!
